Some shots down by the river early one morning a whirl ago, before the leaves all fell off. A beaver was not too impressed that I was on the bank of the Yukon River at night and kept slapping his tail. The river doesn't have a large sediment load like the Mackenzie in Inuvik so it's refreshing to see the bottom with the aurora reflected on the surface. Strong displays just before the sun came up - so patches of green with a brightening sky in the background. The last set of pics are quite atmospheric due to wood smoke drifting along the river.
